In this collection, forms that recall flight have been used: cheerful and light balloons, clouds from which the rain falls, but also female figures with wind-blown skirts. The idea of the hot-air balloon is inspired by the flying ship designed by the Jesuit Francesco Lana who, in the 17th century, described a boat equipped with large copper spheres which, once emptied, would have made it hover in the air.
