The “Mito” collection, made up of a pair of asymmetrical earrings with a Dragon King on one lobe and a Torii on the other, is made with silk from ancient Japanese kimonos, spread over a wooden base lacquered using ancient oriental methods. The jewels, made in six different colors, are mounted exclusively in 925 Silver.

The Torii is the traditional Japanese gateway from which you enter a shrine or more simply a sacred area. The Dragon King Ryu lives in his palace at the bottom of the sea near the Ryukyu Islands. The mythical palace, built in red and white coral, protected by Dragons, is full of treasures. Fish and other sea creatures serve Ryu as vassals and sea turtles are used as messengers. In the northern part of the castle, snow falls all year round, in the eastern part there is the Spring hall where the butterflies fly and the cherry tree is always in bloom, while in the southern part there is the Summer hall where the crickets sing in the warm evenings. Finally, in the western part of the building there is the Autumn room where the maple trees are of brilliant colors. For a human being, one day in this palace is equivalent to one hundred years on earth.
