Earrings made with Japanese kimono fabrics stretched over leather and stones. Elements in gold galvanized brass. Earring length 9 cm. Made in Italy
Ohga is the name of the oldest lotus flower in the world that inspired the Hasu collection by Lebole Maison. The resulting earrings are elegant and dynamic, never the same, made up of lotus flowers in ancient Japanese kimono fabrics that decorate, mixed with colored natural stones, accessories of different lengths and sizes to satisfy every type of need.
Ohga's story is little known and evocative. In 1951 the Japanese botanist Ichiro Ohga, during some research near Tokyo, found some seeds that had been lying there for over a thousand years under a thick layer of peat. From those seeds a unique specimen of lotus flower blossomed, unknown until then and arrived to us after almost two thousand years in all its primitive and intact magnificence.
They are precious accessories, an auspicious thought; ideal earrings for important occasions and as an unexpected gift, full of personality, signed by Lebole Maison.
This jewel is unique. The fabric of the earring may be similar in tone to the image but it will not be identical, the colour of the stone remains the same.
