Lady Murasaky

Lady Murasaki, over a thousand years ago, was a Japanese writer and poet at the imperial court. According to a legend, Murasaki retired to private life at the Ishyama temple on Lake Biwa, where he found inspiration to write his novel on an August night, looking at the moon. The diaries (NIKKI) of Lady Murasaki Shikibu, on the other hand, are the first works where one can observe the spontaneity, sincerity and purity of a literature that reveals the most hidden truths of the author's personality.
