Mother of pearl is created from microscopic flakes of calcium carbonate crystal which make it luminous and iridescent. This change in coloration is one reason it is so beloved in jewelry and art. In Japan, during the Edo period, it was used to create “Uchiwa”, lucky fans often given to wish happiness. Today this precious material is the symbol of a Lebole Maison collection.

The Icons & Madreperla earrings collection consists of three asymmetric pairs; the first sees the iconic Kimono on one side and a heart on the other, the second combines the Fan with a flower, the last pair of earrings is born from the union of the heart and the flower.
