The Kamon collection by Lebole Maison takes its name from the Japanese term which means “house”, “emblem”. It unfolds in pairs of earrings made in two sizes, asymmetrical in the graphic structure but the same in the subject, therefore in the symbolism.

Kamons are usually used to identify a family and are passed down through the generations. They indicate the lineage, kinship and social position of the wearer. They are often compared to the blazons of the European cavalry but in reality they are very different because in ancient Japan there were no surnames except in very rare exceptions. They are based on geometric or floral designs, more rarely animals, natural phenomena or landscapes.
