Once upon a time there was a Japanese model who often came to Europe for work. One fine day she landed in Tuscany, where she was impressed by the landscape, the culture and the food. And since she, the young model, loved to cook, she stopped in Lucca, she enrolled in a course for chefs and then, out of love for a sommelier, she decided to stay forever. Kazuyo Hada and Simone Cavallini are now a couple in life and together they manage the Enoteca Ristorante Vinalia in Cecina. The kitchen has become the realm of Kazuyo who has managed to creatively mix and balance Japanese taste and Tuscan tradition. In her recipes (many of which are based on fish) you can perceive the rigor of the Rising Sun and the flavors of the territory, telling a fascinating and very contemporary story of "contaminations".
In this book Kazuyo Hada talks about himself and tells the author Elisabetta Arrighi about her cooking, also revealing some little secrets. With an interview and 4 recipes from food blogger Cristina Galliti.
